The Experience

Volleyball, Horseshoes and Chili all originated in America. They are part of all of our lives and culture. In 1993, the three were combined to create the CCOBB, an event that still thrives today. The natural intersection of volleyball and horseshoes form the Beach Biathlon for the athletically gifted. The Chili Cook-Off is the anchor event. It is an eclectic display of each individual creators’ style and influences in the form of chili.

The activities are highly competitive and the champions are generously acknowledged and rewarded. However, the spirit of the CCOBB is derived from the energy and passion of all who attend and embrace it.

Ah yes! I wait year round for this one event. Anticipation builds as the date approaches. It's so great to get together with people I have not seen all year, and catch up. I feel so blessed to be part of it...

I’m just fortunate to have been added to this elite group of athletes…thank you for a fantastic event...like all past events, it was very successful!... I really think this is a great day. Looking forward to next year!
